Wow, that's some horrible French. This is not to say that French itself is horrible, just that this bit of French right here is like a train wreck. I'd like to apologize to the half of Canada that speaks French, the country of France and all the other people out there who speak French either as their main language or just as a hobby. Sorry.

There is an explanation for how this all came to be, actually. In Philip K. Dick's book Galactic Pot Healer the main character played a game where people would use machines to translate an English phrase into Chinese and then back into English — the game was trying to guess the original English phrase. (At least, I think it was Galactic Pot Healer. I haven't read the book in a while.) I've always wanted to do something like that in an episode of Pinkey Suthers, and here it is ...even if it's not that good and will most likely spring some sort of French Jihad on my ass. This is actually just my writing translated into French using Altavista's Babelfish tool. I'm a big fan of Babelfish, not only because it's a useful tool but also because it's such a nice way to remember Douglas Adams.

Special thanks to Kathryn Gritt who helped out a little with the horrible French.
